  格列佛游记英语读后感 1

When I open the gullivers travels was immediately attracted by current directory: adventure Lilliput, brobdingnag adventure, flying state... These words seemed to be the author put a magic, I want to hurry up to look down at the sight of the these, want to hurry up to understand how can have Lilliput and brobdingnag, state how to fly. With these questions I carefully read the first chapter.

This book is about the identity of gulliver to sea the doctor with a ship sailing, after a storm alone misadventure in some magical country, finally returned to his own country. The plot twists and turns, abstruse, there is no lack of again humor. Write gullivers adventure in the vivid, very interesting. Is not so much a "gullivers travels" as is "I and gullivers travels", because when I was in reading this book almost fascinated, as if is my adventures with him. But I also admire him from the heart of wit brave, he always give me a medium "adversity cluster" feeling, this is the new set foot on their homeland after he experienced the disasters of the main reasons, so I determined to learn from him this spirit, otherwise, if I encounter this kind of thing later perhaps have already understood.

One of the most interesting questions about gullivers travels is whether the houyhnhnms represent an ideal of rationality or whether on the other hand they are the butt of swifts satire. in other words, in book iv,is swift poking fun at the talking horses or does he intend for us to take them seriously as the proper way to act? If we look closely at the way that the houyhnhnms act,we can see that in fact swift does not take them seriously:he uses them to show the dangers of pride.

First we have to see that swift does not even take gullver seriously. for instance, his name sounds much like gullible, which suggests that he will believe anything. also, when he first sees the yahoos and they throw excrement on him,he responds by doing the same in return until they run away.He says, “I must needs discover some more rational being,” even though as a human he is already the most rational being there is. This is why swift refers to erasmus darwins discovery of the origin of the species and the voyage of the beagle to show how gulliver knows that people are at the top of the food chain. But if lemule gulliver is satirized,so are the houyhnhnms, whose voices sound like the call of castrati.

They walk on two legs instead of four, and seem to be much like people. As gulliver says, “it was with the utmost astonishment that I witnessed these creatures playing the flute and dancing a vienese waltz. To my mind, they seemed like the greatest humans ever seen in court, even more dextrous than the lord edmund burke.”As this quote demonstrates, gulliver is terribly impressed, but his admiration for the houyhnhnms is short lived because they are so prideful. For instance, the leader of the houyhnhnms claims that he has read all the works of charles dickens, and that he can singlehandedly recite the names of all the kings and queens of england up to george ii.Swift subtly shows that this houyhnhnms pride is misplaced when,in the middle of the intellectual competition,he forgets the name of queen elizabeths husband.

Swifts satire of the houyhnhnms comes out in other ways as well. One of the most memorable scenes is when the dapple grey mare attempts to woo the horse that guenivre has brought with him to the island. first she acts flirtatiously, parading around the bewildered horse. But when this does not have the desired effect, she gets another idea: “as I watched in amazement from my perch in the top of a tree, the sorrel nag dashed off and returned with a yahoo on her back who was yet more monstrous than mr.Pope being fitted by a clothier. She dropped this creature before my nag as if offering up a sacrifice. My horse sniffed the creature and turned away.”

It might seem that we should take this scene seriously as a failed attempt at courtship, and that consequently we should see the grey mare as an unrequited lover. But it makes more sense if we see that swift is being satiric here:It is the female houyhnhnm who makes the move, which would not have happened in eighteenth century england. the houyhnhm is being prideful, and it is that pride that makes him unable to impress gullivers horse. gulliver imagines the horse saying, sblood, the notion of creating the bare backed beast with an animal who had held mr.Pope on her back makes me queezy.

A final indication that the houyhnmns are not meant to be taken seriously occurs when the leader of the houynhms visits lilliput, where he visits the french royal society. He goes into a room in which a scientist is trying to turn wine into water (itself a prideful act that refers to the marriage at gallilee).

The scientist has been working hard at the experiment for many years without success, when the houyhnmn arrives and immediately knows that to do: “the creature no sooner stepped through the doorway than he struck upon a plan. slurping up all the wine in sight, he quickly made water in a bucket that sat near the door.”

He has accomplished the scientists goal, but the scientist is not happy, for his livelihood has now been destroyed.Swifts clear implication is that even though the houyhnhmns are smart, they do not know how to use that knowledge for the benefit of society, only for their own prideful agrandizement.

Throughout gullivers travels, the houyhnhms are shown to be an ideal gone wrong.Though their intent might have been good, they dont know how to do what they want to do because they are filled with pride. They mislead gulliver and they even mislead themselves. The satire on them is particularly well explained by the new born houyhnhm who, having just been born, exclaims,“with this sort of entrance, what must I expect from the rest of my life!”

  格列佛游记英语读后感 3

My favorite book is adventure novels. These days, I finally got my wish and read Gullivers Travels, which has benefited me a lot.

This book is about the surgeon Gullivers love of adventure. Once when he went to sea, he entered the "Villain Country" by mistake, was warmly treated, but was almost framed. It was not easy to escape, but fell into the "Giant Country" again, and was forced to perform everywhere.

Fortunately, we met a kind king, so that we could be peaceful. Unexpectedly, Pingdi was brought to a flying island by an eagle. When I finally got home, I was thrown into the "Huiyin Country" by my companions because I went to sea again. Horses are the most rational animals here. After many hardships and joys, he finally returned to his motherland and the so-called "civilized country" of mankind.

Gullivers Travels brings me into a vivid and magical world with wonderful imagination. I seem to have experienced the disputes in Lilliput with Gulliver; Countless funny stories encountered together in the Giant Kingdom as a rare thing; Feel the incomprehensible strange people and science together on the island; I fell in love with the peaceful and serene country of Huiyin... After reading this book, I seem to have made a journey around the world, which is thrilling, hilarious, exhausted, serious and dignified... Its really fascinating.

What attracted me most about this book was that the author used humor to bring satire to the extreme. The book is full of the world in the authors imagination, but it vividly reflects the drawbacks of the real society.

Isnt that what happens in the Lilliputian and Giant countries? People are desperate for money and power, so there will be hatred, envy, frame up, war and other undesirable phenomena. Lets also look at the country of Huiyin. Instead of letting human beings full of desire be the rulers, we let the unrestrained, benevolent, kind and rational horses be the rulers, preaching all kinds of virtues to us.

  格列佛游记英语读后感 4

I once read such a book, and the content in it made me feel deeply. That is Gullivers Travels. Gulliver, the hero of the book, makes me admire him very much.

The main content of the book is as follows: Gulliver, the hero, has traveled to Lilliput, Giant, Isle Kingdom, Wisdom Kingdom and other places, and encountered various strange things. He used his wisdom to survive in other countries.

For example, in Lilliput, he is a monster to those people; In the giant country, he can only be controlled by others like a child everywhere... Through these interesting stories, the author satirizes the various drawbacks of the British society at that time, reflects the main contradictions of the British society in the early 18th century, and exposes the corruption and crimes of the upper class ruling society at that time.

What impressed me most in this book was the story of Gullivers travels in Lilliput. Gulliver was a doctor. He sailed with the boat and came to Lilliput halfway.

He won the unanimous trust of villains through his calm, calm, kind and gentle character. In fact, Gulliver has the ability to subdue the residents here, but he is kind-hearted and does not choose violence to conquer. He likes to make friends with them. He is a person who treats them sincerely.

Gullivers Travels was written by Jonathanxxx The representative work of. This is an outstanding travel satirical novel. It is a portrayal of an era, "one of the great treasure houses of literature", and also a childrens travel book that can never be tired of reading. Therefore, I recommend you read it. Its good for you.

  格列佛游记英语读后感 5

Gullivers Travels is one of the most interesting books I have ever seen. The reason why I like this book is that it makes me feel isolated from the world when I read it, and also makes me experience unprecedented interest and unimaginable stimulation.

When reading, you can not only accumulate vocabulary, but also relax your mood and relieve pressure. It can be said that it is a perfect book.

The author of this book is xxxxfrom England. This book is a long satirical novel in travel style, which was first published in 1726. This book takes Rimmel Gulliver as the main character to narrate the experience of arriving at Lilliput, Lord, Flying Island and Houyhnhnms in the first person. Each island has its own different customs and languages.

Gulliver, the hero with strong language talent and survival talent, arrived in some incredible countries due to some special accidents. In these countries, Gulliver learned the languages, customs and habits of different countries by his instinct for survival.

Each country will let Gulliver fall into despair again and again, but he survived miraculously. This adventure not only tempered Gullivers spirit, but also made him realize the vastness of the world.

After reading this book, I also felt the difficulty of living and the happiness of my present space, which benefited me for life!

  格列佛游记英语读后感 6

During winter vacation I read "gullivers travels", the book read the interesting and thrilling story, as if really put me into the world of what gullivers travels.

The protagonist of the book gulliver is a people who love to travel, he is eager to travel around the world, almost every corner of the world. Perhaps his fearless spirit, let us also revealed to the peculiar four countries.

Make me the deepest impression is "Lilliput and brobdingnag". The made of pu, although residents are generally the size of the palm of your hand, but they are very diligent and intelligent. Gulliver made a number of force for the country, and finally by the court in impeachment, was forced to leave the country. From a certain Angle it reflected the at that time the British government is dim, and so on. In brobdingnag, gulliver and look up human small dwarf point of view, to satirize some human of some bad habits.

In the hui HSS Ma Guozhong, gulliver met with kindness, honesty and friendship virtue hui HSS horse. In the language of hui HSS countries did not "lie" and "deceit" this word, they dont know what is "suspect", what is a "no confidence", in their country everything is true, transparent, is a place where peoples pursuit and yearning. The novel really paint a picture of gulliver travel, at the same time, let me see the bright side of society and the dark side.

British writer Jonathan; Swifts Gullivers travels, the novel describes the adventures of Gulliver with a keen irony and humor, fantastic imagination and exaggeration, and travels around the world four times, experiencing great and small adventure. The first voyage with lefou road in distress, escape, drift left to Lilliput, is bound to the king. However, the gentle performance of Gulliver gradually won the favor of the king and the people, and he gradually became familiar with the customs of the small country. Later in Gullivers help to defeat the same is Lilliput "but Fugu Si" Gulliver to exterminate Blefuscu Empire, the emperor was not happy. At this time, the empress palace fire in Gullivers wisdom, pee put out the fire, who knows but let the queen was very angry.

So, to get rid of Lilliput and gulliver. Gulliver heard the wind, quickly fled to the Empire of Blefuscu, later returned safely to england. The second time, Gulliver went to the adult state, before in the small country, Gulliver is a monster, but now, he is not even an ant in adults! Because he is a special type in the adult state, and was received as a small thing in the suitcase, brought to the town show exhibition. Later, after three years, Gulliver to accompany the king tour frontier. Because of Gullivers homesick, and pretended to be sick, came to the seaside and breathe the fresh air. But the eagle in the sky took him live in the box for a turtle hung up.

The next few eagle in the air battle, the box fell into the sea, a ship was passing found Gulliver, after being rescued, he sailed back to England. But the heart of Gullivers travel around the world is not destroyed, in the third Gulliver went to the flying island, visited in Laputa and Glubbdubdrib, who looks abnormal, strange clothing, all be in a brown study. In the Academy of science, designers are engaged in the study of some subject result be a wild legend, the land desolate, the collapse of the housing, the people had no food, no clothes. In the people on the island, he is good at master magic, necromancy, they learned, found the historical truth is powerful in the world to deceive. Gref also visited La NEGELE Kingdom, see a man of immortality "sitelubu". After leaving the country, Gulliver came to Japan, and then went back to england.

He ironically tells British characteristics at that time: "greed, the party struggles, hypocrisy, no letters, cruelty, anger, resentment, jealousy, lust, crazy, sinister and ambitions." He sarcastically described the bizarre phenomenon of human animal upside down: Ma became rational carrier, while the others into a dirty, smelly urine dashing, greedy for inferior animal yehuda. He talks about human nature, is willing to be enslaved by money, not extravagant waste, that is, greed. The author not only satirize the British society at that time, but I think it is more important to decide the whole human society. Alemayehu represents human beings, while the hero is so disgusted with Alemayehu. All the lines of the book reveal the authors dissatisfaction with the society.

On the other hand, the heros life in the Hui country and Hui Yuan is the most unforgettable. Their country does not have words of evil, like deceit, doubt, cunning, and so on. So their society will not be deceived, suspected, cunning, framed, conspiracy, bribery...... That world is a place full of happiness and happiness. So that when the hero left there, he shed sad tears.

After reading Gullivers travels, we can not help but examine ourselves. Do we have the shadow of these stubborn roots?.

Although our society does not decline as the United Kingdom at that time, but where to go or not. Petty theft, littering, vandalism. Its all around us. Murder, drug smuggling, brutal crazy. Its not surprising that we often see things on tv.

Such a turbid society is something we need to clarify. Now we cant do anything spectacular, but we can do what we can do. Even lower your head, pick up a piece of garbage, write an environmental article, call friends relatives...... This is something we can easily do.

  格列佛游记英语读后感 8

The novel by the pungent satire and humorous, the strange imagination and the exaggeration, Gulliver who the description is very fond of the navigation risk, travels around the world in all directions, has experienced every large or small thrilling and the interesting fortuitous encounter.

In travel notes adult the country, Lilliput"s strange story has attracted me deeply, however the impression deepest in 1710 Gulliver went boating North America for me, on the chance encounter desert island brightly because of the country, knew had, the honest moral excellence benevolently brightly because of the country king"s story. Does not have because in bright country"s language to lie and the deceit such inscription, the people do not understand their meaning. They do not understand anything are suspect, anything is does not trust. In theirs state, all are real, transparent.

I envy Gulliver to be able very much to arrive fortunately brightly because of the country, where is the ideal region which we pursue and yearned for, does not need to worry others speech in here you the genuine and fake. But in the realistic society, some people swindles others" hard-earned money with the honeyed words; Some people kidnap and sell the child to seek the sudden and huge profits; Some people even abandon their for the money birth parents No wonder, our teacher, the elder since childhood educates us to want to enhance vigilance, carefully is deceived.

I was also hoping the one day of our society also to be able to look like brightly because of country such, in children"s eye no longer has the anxiety, the education and the reality is unified. I hope for this reason diligently, also hopes everybody same place, starts from me, starts from the side, lets this social many spots be sincere, the few spot is false.

  格列佛游记英语读后感 9

Gullivers Travels can be said to be the novel I have read the most times, because I have been reading this book since primary school. Its not like a novel, because it doesnt make me read a novel. Of course, how I look at it depends on how I feel at different ages.

When I was in primary school, I didnt know much about novels. Generally speaking, I read fairy tales or fables. Therefore, when I saw Gullivers Travels, I thought it was an interesting adventure fairy tale, so I bought it. However, because of this, I saw something interesting in it.

I looked at it like other stories. When I saw rope skipping on the rope, I thought it was a special game. When I saw it, it was interesting to see that Lilliputians used this to choose their official positions. When I finished reading Gulliver, I told my classmates Gullivers story in school and recommended the book to others.

Many people went to buy Gullivers Travels, which even the teacher thought was incredible. Later, the teacher understood what I had told them, and didnt say anything but smiled.

When I was in primary school, Gullivers Travels was a required reading, so I was glad I had read it. But later, through the teachers introduction to us, I understood what I had not seen - it was a satire. But I still dont understand half of it. Why does an interesting fairy tale become a satire, A novel satirizing human society? Although I still understand something through the introduction, I still cant accept this form of symbol.

Later, when I came to junior high school, I gradually understood the meaning of Gullivers Travels and many things that I had never known before. When I read Gullivers Travels again, I read it with a feeling of exclusion, because I understand that the content is an image of ugly things, a satire on things, so I dont want to think about it.

But I didnt think that when I knew I would read this book, how would I look at it? Why dont I look at this book that I have seen enough before with such eyes now? Because of growth, growth may bring us maturity and stability, but it also takes away innocence and carefree. This may be the change of human nature, and no one can escape.

Gullivers Travels gave me a view at different times, perhaps witnessing my growth and transformation day by day. We all have different views on things, but perhaps sometimes we have to think about it. If it is a different time, will we still look at things with the same eyes?

Perhaps what we should learn from this book is not satire, but to understand the passage of the world.

  格列佛游记英语读后感 10

During the summer vacation, I read Gullivers Travels. In the novel, Gulliver, who loves sailing and adventure, travels around the world, and has experienced great and small adventure and interesting adventure with acrid irony and humor, strange imagination and exaggeration.

I was deeply attracted by the strange stories of the country of adults and the country of Lilliputians in my travel notes. However, in 1710, Gulliver sailed in North America, met the country of Huiyin on a desert island by chance, and met the king of Huiyin with kindness and honesty.

There are no such words as "lying" and "cheating" in the language of Huiyin State, and people do not understand their meaning. They do not understand what is "doubt" and what is "distrust". In their country, everything is real and transparent.

I envy Gulliver for being lucky to go to Huiyin, where we are pursuing and yearning for an ideal place. You dont need to worry about the truth of others words here. In the real society, some people use rhetoric to cheat others hard-earned money; Some people even abandon their biological parents for money

I also hope that one day our society will be like Huiyin, where children will no longer have doubts in their eyes, and education and reality will be unified. I am willing to work hard for this, and I hope that everyone can start from me and around me, so that this society can be more sincere and less hypocritical.

  格列佛游记英语读后感 11

These days, I read a novel called Gullivers Travels, which has brought me into a strange artistic conception with clear words and described a turbid society in humorous and ironic language. After reading, the spiritual pleasure brought by it is like a lingering sound, lasting for three days.

Of course, the twists and turns of the plot also made me jumpy. However, what impressed me most was the heros experience in Lilliput.

Driven by greed and ambition, the two countries that once had a close and friendly relationship with each other, the Brevskus Empire and the State of Lilliput, fought against each other and launched wars. The hero helped the Lilliput people defeat the invasion of the Brevskus Empire, and was highly rewarded.

After that, the hero refused to accept the unreasonable demands of other monarchs because of his justice, but the monarchs could not accept it. From then on, he planted the seeds of hatred in the hearts of the monarchs. In addition, officials secretly vilified the hero. His image in the eyes of the monarchs was like an angel turned into a devil, so that he and some court officials wanted to put the hero to death.

This is just like what the book says: "Great achievements are nothing in the eyes of the king. If you refuse to meet the kings extravagant expectations for a while, you can never be forgiven even if you have made great contributions before.".

When I read this, I trembled and felt a little chilly... The so-called advice is harsh, and the loyal minister cant please the monarch; The villain is suspicious of the gentleman, and the gentleman is naturally slandered. Thinking of this, I cant help sighing that how many loyal ministers in history can finally be treated kindly by the king? But at least the hero is almost one of them.

What I wrote in this travel note presents in my mind is a turbid and merciless life, a miniature of the past life! From the implied irony and contempt described by the author, the spirit of resistance is reflected everywhere. The social style of the country at that time reflected in the travel notes also made me understand that the progress of the times is often full of misfortune and thorns, but in any case, it is life after all, and this novel can be described as a mixture of sadness and joy.

In daily life, it seems that very few people are adventurous and brave. Once, I was taking a walk with a classmate. Suddenly, there was a spider on the wall in front. When we noticed it, the student was so scared that he hid behind me until he left. Now think about it. Its ridiculous that we should be afraid of insects a hundred times smaller than ourselves. Then we are too fragile. When we think of Gulliver fighting with a mouse a hundred times bigger than himself in the "adult country", we cant compare with him.

Gullivers adventurous spirit also made me admire him very much, which made me think of the day when the teacher asked us to go around the house to observe things and write compositions. I went to look for something under a big tree.

When I found a broken shoe, I opened it. It was full of watermelon worms. After a look, I left screaming. Now I think: What about a bunch of watermelon worms? Why dont you observe for a while? Maybe there is something to gain. While Gulliver was sailing, he encountered danger, but he still strove forward and finally succeeded.

This book is a great harvest for me!

  格列佛游记英语读后感 12

After reading this bookxxxx After Gullivers Travels, the most famous satirical novel, it was known that the authors detailed descr iption of various strange experiences in Lilliputian, Giant and other places was due to the complicated social conditions in Britain at that time. So the author used his rich imagination to conceive wonderful and dreamy pictures, satirizing the darkness of British society at that time, which was humorous and convincing. Gulliver, the hero, receives different treatment every time he goes to a country, and he has witnessed various strange phenomena. Each scene is described in detail, with rich imagination and strange conception. It is interesting and fascinating to read.

Gulliver has successively traveled to Lilliput, Giant and Houyhnhnms. In Lilliput, he can play with kings and civilians; In the giant country, he can only be controlled by others like a child everywhere; But what impressed me most was the last country Gulliver went to, the Houyhnhnms, where Ma became a symbol of wisdom.

He met Houyhnms with kindness, honesty and friendship. There was no "lying", no "doubt", and no "cheating". In their country, everything was real and transparent. Gulliver had a good time in Houyhnhnms.

Here, Gulliver and his Houyhnhnma horse owner started a long conversation and discussion, which also made his owner understand why people cheat and cheat, and why we face moral degradation and spiritual collapse. This is also the key to this book. Through Gullivers experience, the author just wants to find a prescr iption to cure the human soul.

After listening to my introduction, do you already like this book? Lets go into the strange world!

  格列佛游记英语读后感 13

Gulliver’s Travel is a fairy tale written by Jonathan Swift. It’s a very interesting story full of imagination. Besides, the description is vivid and appealing, when I read it I feel like I’m traveling with the hero in the story.

Jonathan Swift was born in Ireland, but his parents are English. He has written many books such as A Tale of A Tub and The Battle of Books, respectively criticizes and attacks the corruption of religion and prejudice of scholar authority. His Drapier’s letters reveals the attempt of England to destroy the economy of Ireland. For this reason, English government awarded 300pounds for catching Swift. However, nobody in Ireland betrayed him. Swift died in 1745, and he said in his testament that he would give all his property to the charity.

Gulliver’s Travels tells a story of Captain Gulliver’s unique experience. Gulliver has a strong desire of traveling around the world since he grew up. However, when he became a captain, he travels not between different countries but between strange places we never imagine.

The first time, his boat encountered a storm and he swan to the shore. When he woke up he found himself surrounded by small men later he realized he had come to the country “Liliput”, which was a country of small men. In the country, the people treated him very friendly, they gave him food and drink and wine. He? lived happily and he was nice to them as well. Later, the king asked him to help fight the other country Blefuscu for a very amusing reason: people there break their eggs at the big end while people in Liliput break eggs on the small end. Gulliver helped the king win the battle and soon after that he went home.

The second time, he set sail and met a fierce storm again. This time he found a land which was a country named Broadingnag. It was a country of giants. You can guess his whereabouts. The huge people treated him as a pet. They put him on show, give speech and do sword drill, till he was tired out. Later he was sent to the Queen, the Queen liked him very much and had him dine with her everyday. But life was not easy for him. Nevertheless, something interesting happened. When he wanted to read, he had to climb up on the book and walk from left to right to read a line. Imagine that scene I couldn’t help laughing. Another story is playing the piano. He had to strike the keys hard with his first.

People comment the book as a satire to England even to the whole Europe. In detail, that is, the first experience use the amusing reason of war to criticize the parties and religion of England, the second experience satirizes the boast and conceit of the whole Europeans. Nevertheless, in my opinion, I only see the vivid portrayal and the interesting imagination. Maybe it’s because it’s the first time I read the story and know not so much about the background and situation of the author and his society, but the story really impresses me. I like the exotic experience of Gulliver, and I like Swifer’s imagination. A masterpiece which can influence generation after generation surely has its reason, maybe for the profound understanding of history, maybe for the description of people’s life. This novel may have something to do with sarcasm, but to me, at least by now, is a pure fantasy and a wonderful fairy tale.

  格列佛游记英语读后感 14

This winter vacation, I read by a British writerxxx Gullivers Travels, just a few pages later, was attracted by the authors desc ription. The author brings me deeply into the adventures of the hero Gulliver with his acrid satire and humor, strange imagination and exaggeration.

Gulliver traveled to four countries: Lilliput, Giant, Flying Bird and Houyhnhnms. He became a huge giant in Lilliput, and seemed to have magic power in the eyes of the little people. He was invulnerable and could not eat dozens of scalpers without filling his stomach; In the country of giants, he has become the toy of giants.

He is so small and fragile that he will die if he is not careful; Later, he went to the mysterious country of flying birds, where people could move freely by using the power of birds and underwater magnets; At last, he went to the Houyhnhnms, a beautiful country where he lived happily and contentedly... Reading, reading, I seemed to be in the scene, and started an adventure with Gulliver.

In my opinion, Gullivers four different countries are exactly the four different life situations that the author wants to describe. We are always forced into a certain situation, which may be helpless or bitter, but only we can understand the pain.

Most of the time, we are just small individuals, often involuntarily, but we still have to work hard to radiate our own light. In different situations, people will also change. Some people become cunning, greedy, and clinging to power, while others become natural, strong, and calm.

Gulliver had a good time in the Houyhnhnms country, and he felt very happy and happy, which formed a strong contrast with the previous contact with Yahu in the Lilliputian country. Because Yehu always treats Gullivers honesty with suspicion, Gulliver is very disappointed because he is not trusted.

Houyhnhnhnms is the society that I pursue and yearn for. There, people do not need to be suspicious of people and do not have to be wary of people and things around them. However, in todays society, there are too many factors that make us uneasy.

It seems that we may be robbed by thieves, cheated by unscrupulous businessmen, and abducted by human traffickers at any time. Sometimes I calm down and think, whats the matter now? We become more and more suspicious. When we reach out to help others, we hesitate: Does he really need help, or does he have another intention for me? Why cant we think of others simply?

Gullivers Travels tells me that we should live a pure life and not suffer from "suspicion" and lose our true self because of the cruelty of society. We are all members of this society, and together we constitute the whole society. The society is what we are.

  格列佛游记英语读后感 15

I like to have fun in the sea of books. Today, I accidentally saw a newly bought book Gullivers Travels on the bookshelf. The author of this book is an outstanding British novelist, Gullivers Travels is one of his masterpieces! When I opened Gullivers Travels, I was immediately attracted by several headlines on the catalog; The story of Lilliputian Country, the travel notes of the Lord Country, the travel notes of the Bird Country, and the travel notes of the Houyhnhnms Country. As soon as I see these, I want to look down and quickly understand the stories in Lilliputian Country, Adult Country, Bird Country.

In the book, Gulliver went to sea with a ship as a marine surgeon. Later, he encountered storms and pirates who attacked some magical countries alone and experienced many interesting and dangerous things. This book is vivid in content, which makes Gullivers writing so vivid that I am fascinated when I read it, as if I saw it.

I like the chapter of Lilliput best. Gulliver is in the Lilliputian Kingdom, just like a mountain. He can trample several Lilliputians to death if he is not careful.

A meal needs hundreds of people to cook. He can also let Lilliputians dance on his palm! When Lilliputian meets foreign enemies, the king asks Gulliver for help. Gulliver happily agrees. Lilliputian wins the war with the advantage of Gulliver, who is tall and strong.

However, Gulliver disagreed with the kings request to occupy the failed country. From the book, I found that Gullivers Travels not only wrote strange fairy tales, but also satirized.

After reading my introduction, are you excited? Would you like to read this book.

  格列佛游记英语读后感 16

Recently, I read a book called Gullivers Travels, which is really eye opening. Do you want to know how wonderful it is?

Gulliver, the hero of the novel, earns money on the ship as a doctor. He does not care about every detail and always cares about others. He is modest and eager to learn, and always works hard to learn languages that he cannot.

He hoped very much that he could learn from the kindness and kindness of Houyhnhnms. He likes this kind of horse very much, even more than his children. Because he felt at ease with the horse.

Once, when he left Gele Dazhui and went to Lagenag to meet the king, the soldiers outside the palace made a request to Gulliver that surprised him. Because to see the king, Gulliver had to crawl on the palace steps and lick the floor with his tongue. After some inner struggle, Gulliver did. In that country, Gulliver was not the only one who suffered such treatment, so were the princes and ministers.

After reading this story, I was thinking, will there be dust in his mouth? How can I talk to the king? Do you want to brush your teeth first? I remember that in the TV, when ministers visited the king, they walked in. I never saw such a thing. This is really an eye opener! There are many strange and interesting stories in this book, which are worth reading.
